Baby Steps

I’m so reborn. Keep moving forward.

The thing with following your heart is that nobody can guide your journey, other than you. Of course the universe is always speaking to you through numbers and synchronicity – but it is your intuition and faith that needs to decode the messages. Trusting your gut feeling can be overwhelming. Society didn’t necessarily raise us to go about that way of being. Of being so aligned in our own truth that the words and opinions of others don’t affect us.

I’m thankful that I noticed that mental slavery at a young age. I knew who I was, and what I wanted. Most importantly – I believed in myself and knew that anything was possible. Although I didn’t know how or when I’d reach my destination – I knew that abundance was coming. I knew that greatness was written for me. (AS IT IS WRITTEN FOR YOU!)

The journey as a dreamer is different than all career paths. You’re guiding yourself through the dark with an everlasting faith that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You’re subjected to everyone’s opinion of the chance that you might fail. You’re constantly reassuring yourself that you aren’t crazy. You’re reminding yourself that GOD lives within your heart and you aren’t alone. You’re being guided by something much greater than yourself. You often feel misunderstood when you try explaining your big ideas. Not everyone has the ability to feel into the future as you do.

Some days it’s easier to tap into creativity than others. Some days you’ve worked a day job for 8 hours – the last thing you want to do is go home and work on another job. Some days it just clicks. You appreciate your art and know the true value of who you are. Some days you wonder why you keep trying.

Through all of that – you learn to be your own best friend. You enjoy spending time in your mind, because you learn to think good thoughts. You have your bad days, but you always try to help yourself out of them. I think that’s the most important thing – that you don’t allow yourself to dwell in darkness for too long. You’ve felt the world shine out of your heart, and you know that it will do so again.
